Arab Revolutions And Ethical Questions About The Ego And The Other

Salam al Rabadi : researcher and author in international relations \ spain.

To begin with,it is obvious to say: there is no objective reality itself. this approach requires a lot of things on the basis of controversial and thus open the way intellectual discussions and new ideas. the facts can not speak for themselves.it is a problematic relationship with the concept of self-consciousness.proceeding from this communication between the researcher and the community in such circumstances is supposed to be based on truth not on the basis of transparent packaging vulgar or Shuffle.

The most pressing dilemma in our society is an existential dialectic based on the question: How can establish a system of public social ?

As most of the Arab countries, has failed to create an integrative revolution. in other words it did not work to try to group people under general principles in order to confirm the higher interest of the homeland and the citizen and Arabism. On the contrary, those governments have succeeded in developing strategies sectarian and regional vulgar. but it is a result of its policies added a new division to the structure of Arab society a class divisions by drawing social and economic strategies serve specific groups, those countries can not accomplish public policies emphasizes the principles of equality and justice.

There is a new perspective of security began to impose himself above considerations territorial, regional and military. the challenges of the new global made of the concept of security holistic and multi-dimensional and more attached to human life for communities. hence the adoption of the United Nations Programme for Development,an idea, "human security". So, security is no longer measured by the reduction of the threats, but the extent of responding to basic human .

Thus, we reflect on this proposal, especially for Arab and Islamic thought contemporary, mingled it Topics heritage, religion and culture. So is called logos )religious, ideological, sectarian( in all the political differences humanitarian. This thought deprives the broad categories of society (different categories of ego)and it obscures the basic rights of citizenship or even a minimum of humanitarian principles (right to life) .

And we can say that the most important manifestations of this intellectual and political conflict in the Arab world : The emergence of a two-way dangerous.

First: the conflict with the political systems.

Second: the collision with the structure of Arab society: religious, ethnic, national, religious, cultural ( it is the most dangerous).

Everything that is happening in Syria,Iraq, Bahrain, Lebanon, Sudan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Tunisia, Do not deviate from the framework of these risks. So Why we can not look at each other,as a human? Why we must emphasize the differences? Why do we need to trend chauvinism? Why do not limit ourselves to the human tendency?

The talk about sectarianism, racism and nationalities, races and religions, do not benefit from it, only to keep the problem. Therefore we are not getting it?

In this context, we can say, that ideologies after the revolutions in the Arab world , characterized by mono- thought on the level of political and religious Instead of the perfect “utopia” and humanitarian optimistic which aims to build a new Arab world and proposes alternatives for us can be exceeded bitter reality. As these ideologies developed, looking for new problems mired in ego, and all the solutions derived from historical periods ended. These ideologies, are worth pondering especially from the standpoint of looking at the"ego" and the other . Therein lies the problem.it is the duty and responsibilities of human beings show the real issues and try to find the appropriate solutions accordance with the facts and possibilities, and without the need to create a collision with the"ego" and with the "other" is different .

So, the modern society, it can not acquire its components in any form out humanized “WE". This requires us to work on spreading culture: the consensus on the principles and values of common humanity and to promote thought and moral conscience .The superego in its spirit of cultural is only an expression of the need to strengthen the sense of "WE". It is "WE" cultural pluralism and openness and acceptance of others. It is certainly not a "WE" disassembly and fragmentation. And also will not be a "WE" chaos and instincts and hatred Beyond the mental frameworks. It has become a basic dilemma, which threatens the entity Arab societies.

This applies, for the development of the so-called Arab revolutions.where we have moved from a previous state , had exhausted the possibilities of the Arab nation in the problems of cultural and intellectual dialogue about " who we are " and their relationship with the "other" is different (the West) To get to this level of collision with the ego itself.

Historically : We can say that the reality of the contemporary Arab societies looks like a historical stage difficult which characterized European societies in the Middle Ages
in the midst of these changes and transformations taking place in Arab societies We must confront the moral questions of strategic importantly:

Will we learn from the experiences of history in order to overcome these difficulties?

Are there options available to solve the dilemma of thought and reality of the nation and the mysterious presence , outside the binary:

1 - either the collision with the "other"?
2 - or collision with same ego?
